Built in 1908, this old courthouse was renovated and restored back to its early historic grandeur. Following the original courthouse plans, the restoration took the building back as close as possible to its original form (with the addition of air conditioning). Window restoration, interior finishes and stenciling along the walls, brought the chambers back to life, while the woodwork throughout the building was refinished, and large, airy courtrooms were restored to their original appearance, complete with balconies.

Christiano provided general contracting services for this new police station and maintenance facility. The scope of work included completing 7.5 acres of new site work with a new structure with steel trusses, standing seam metal roof system, sally port, 6 each holding cells, records room, evidence rooms a communications center and an emergency operations center.

We remodeled the existing 1923 historical courthouse, based on the original drawings, and we returned it to its original look for that period. The scope of work included restoring the courtroom on the second floor. We added new plaster moldings, furniture renovation and window restoration, replacement of the cement tile roof and electrical and mechanical upgrades.
